Authorities in Australia have identified a victim whose mummified body was discovered rolled up in a rug inside a hoarder’s home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
Police said Tuesday that the body, which had been decomposing in the Greenwich home for years before it was found last week, belonged to Shane John Snellman. It’s unclear how the man died, but police said in a statement that he sustained numerous injuries leading up to his death.
